Eden - Journey of Perils by Din nW1 526 (and 2902)

The Eden with no tiles!

● Resources gained by killing zombies and gathering instead of


tiles
● Towers used to move around map
● Excellence - replaces merit - gained by killing zombies,
gathering and taking structures (but not kills)
● New map with 1 faction starting in each corner
● Rewards different set up to previous Edens

Notes:
● There is season tech, but with some different options (uses rare-earth-element).
● Guilds are 200 in size - can join any guild in your faction.
● Many of the specialty points are not useful for this Eden, as they apply to tiles.

Resources
There are no tiles in Eden. Instead the tainted resources are gained by gathering or
killing zombies. The trainted resources then need to be processed in processing
plants, then you can upgrade honor structures.

Gather on a polluted mine, polluted oil well, polluted lumber mill or polluted farm, to get
polluted ore, fossil fuel, mutated lumber or diseased crops.

Gathering also gives some Excellence points and Crystals. Crystals go to the guild and
are used to build towers.

Gold gathering parts, gathering speed bonuses and gathering heroes can all increase
gathering speed. Season tech can increase gathering speed too. VIP gathering
stations can also be used.

Gathering in Eden does not count for clash of alliance (coa) points on gathering day.

Speed of income for upgrading honor structures seemed faster than past Edens with
tiles, as long as you are always gathering when not in game.

● There are 4 different types of zombies from level 31 to level 45, giving different
resources as rewards. Extra rewards are given for first victory.
● Each zombie is 15 durability to hit.
● They have immunity ranging from 0 to 9000; similar heroes work for attacking
zombies when poison is greater than zero (need sven for 100% poison).
● Highest level zombies are only found close to the centre of the map.

Towers
Towers are used for creating territory for your Guild and to move around map.

Only R5/R4 can build Guild hubs and watchtowers.

Up to 3 guild hubs can be placed on the map. Towers are built in paths from the guild
hubs, just like in Oblivion. The path of towers needs to stay connected to maintain the
guild territory.

The purple area around a tower or guild hub is your guild territory. You can instantly
teleport into any guild territory. Your base cannot be attacked in guild territory. You also
get buffs of 10% gathering speed, 5% might and 5% defence.

Towers need 160k crystals to build. If a tower has a crystal mine in its territory, it
generates 1k crystals an hour. A small amount of crystals are also gained from
gathering.

Towers are slow to build - every guild member can send 1 APC to speed this up.

Towers and guild hubs can be attacked. APCs can be stationed there to defend.

If destroyed the territory around is lost - your base can be attacked and you can no
longer teleport in. Although if you are in game you can teleport out instantly.

This all means it's slow to move across the map, you need an r5/r4 to be able to move
and most battles take place in towers.

Excellence
Excellence - replaces merit.

Individuals earn Excellence by killing


zombies. 15-48 per Zombie killed. This
can be increased via season tech.

A small amount of Excellence is earned


from gathering.

Kills do not affect Excellence.

Excellence cannot decrease.

Guild and Faction Excellence is the sum


of individual Excellence plus Excellence
from gates, cities and capitals.

New Map
Every alliance or individual player is
assigned to a faction on a map.

Each faction starts in one of four


corners.

Each faction area has:


● 6 level 5 cities (open Thursday
week 1),
● 2 level 4 gates to each of the
two closest outer zones (open
Tuesday week 2),
● 3 level 5 gates to inner zone
(open Sunday Week 2).

Each outer zone has 1 level 5 capital


(open Thursday week 2).

Each of 4 inner zones has 3 level 6


capitals (open Tuesday week 3).

Lv6 gates are between inner zones (open


Sunday Week 3).

Lv7 gates get you to the centre and


World Centre (week 4).

Rewards
Rewards are different this season, and based on achieving different individual, guild or faction goals. These
range from killing zombies and gathering, to different levels of Excellence, to occupying different structures.
There is no need for r5 to give out rewards at the end, it is up to the individual player to achieve each reward.

Note that many good rewards require kills from other factions, which are hard to get for smaller bases.
Most rewards give honour and resource bundles. Some give serum or 8 hour speedups.
The tables below summarise the rewards currently. The exact requirements have changed several times. This
table is just designed to give an idea of the types of tasks and the bigger rewards available.

Season quest changes:


Rewards of tiles are replaced by other rewards. Worth buying elite challenge, but probably not worth buying extra levels of elite early.
Challenges are upgrading 1 honor structure a day, and upgrading honor structures to levels 3, 5, 9, 12, 15, 18, 20.
Upgrade at least 1 honor structure every day, get one processor and virus lab to lv20 and it is easily completed in time.
