Say the route traveled by the heroes: where it starts and finishes and the kilometers.
Its starts in the gulag (in Siberia) and it ends in India. It is approximately 6000km
ORIENTATION:
Name the ways the hero uses to orientate
It uses a rock and stands right in front of it. That’s the only method of orientation that I remember
It was snowy and with trees, then (I don’t remember much the order in which they were) it was desert and then it was all full
of trees and tea leaves.
Name the main climates in the planet and their corresponding landscapes.
The tropical (full of trees and very humid), dry (for example, deserts), continental (plain places) and polar (usually plain, and
very cold)
How do they protect themselves in the sandstorm?
They ‘hide’ in the side of a little dune, where the wind isn’t flowing to.
GEOGRAPHICAL FEATURES:
Name from north to south the main geographical features the heroes pass through.
Siberia (cold and with a lot of trees), Mongolia (a plain desert), China (full of mountains) and finally India (also full of
mountains but with trees and a lot of plants)
OROGRAPHY:
Old massif and young mountains: check the definition for both in the book and name an example shown in the film.
A massif is a principal mountain mass, while a young mountain have steep slopes and high pointed peaks. I don’t re -
member anything like that in the film
