Some vartojamas
teigiamuosiuose sakiniuose ir klausiamuosiuose sakiniuose ko nors prašant ar siūlant. Any vartojamas
klausiamuosiuose, o not any arba no vartojamas neigiamuosiuose sakiniuose.
Some, any:
Some ir any naudojame kalbėdami apie kiekį, bet ne apie didelį kiekį.
Some naudojame “pozytiviuose” sakiniuose su nesuskaičiuojamais daiktavardžiais (some shampoo) ir daugiskaitos
suskaičiuojamuose daikt. (some books). Taip pat naudojame klausimuose ir pasiūlimuose kai mes tikimės atsakymo
“taip”.
A: Would you like some tea? B: Yes I’d love some. Any naudojame su daugiskaitos suskaičiuojamais daiktavardžiais,
nesuskaičiuojamais daiktavardžiais klausimuose, kai mes nežinome atsakymo ir neigiamuosiuose sakiniuose. Have

A LITTLE šiek tiek - turi teigiamą reikšmę ir vartojamas nesuskaičiuojamiems (truputį pieno)
FEW – tai – mažai , turi neigiamą reikšmę – ir vartojami suskaičiuojamiesiems (mažai draugų)
LITTLE - tai – mažai - turi neigiamą reikšmę- ir vartojamas nesuskaičiuojamiems (mažai laiko)
