1) What Are the Core Concepts and Theories You've Mastered?
The concept of dead load and live load to ensure the safety and longevity of structures.
Understanding the weight of the structure and its components is vital for designing structures that
can withstand stress over time, while considering potential occupancy, activities, and
environmental factors is crucial to manage live loads.
2) What New Skills or Techniques Have You Developed?
As a Architecture student, I have developed significant expertise in the analysis and design of T-
beam structures. Leveraging advanced tools and methodologies, I am capable of creating precise
models and conducting rigorous analyses of these structures, ensuring their safety, efficiency, and
cost-effectiveness under diverse load conditions. my capabilities as architecture student and
have provided me with opportunities to deepen my expertise and advance professionally in this
dynamic and challenging field.
3) What Challenges Did You Encounter, and How Did You Overcome Them?
Studying computing dead load and live load in the context of T-beam structures presented
various challenges. Understanding load distribution within T-beams and mastering computational
tools were the main obstacles I faced. To overcome these challenges, I immersed myself in
theoretical studies, sought guidance from experienced mentors, and practiced hands-on. These
experiences taught me resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning, leading to my growth as
a Architecture Student.
4) How Will Your Learning Benefit Your Future Career as a Civil Engineer?
Studying dead load and live load computation in T-beam structures has equipped me with
technical expertise, opening up new opportunities for specialization and innovation in structural
engineering. I can tackle complex challenges and make meaningful contributions to the built
environment by developing innovative solutions that push the boundaries of efficiency,
sustainability, and resilience in structural design. The knowledge gained will help me collaborate
effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to diverse
stakeholders, ultimately leading to successful project outcomes.
