MAKING DECISIONS

1. What was the problem or decision to be made?

Deciding what sport I was going to do. It was this summer when I had to make a
decision and it took me overthinking all August

2. What were all the options and alternatives?

The alternatives were either to stay on the football team, where I’m for 8 years
but I felt a little tired of the team or to go to the basketball team, where I’m
better but I like it less than football, so maybe I’ll feel tired at the middle of the
season

3. How did you assess all the options and alternatives?

I assess it thinking, especially, in what I’ll enjoy more, because I’m not going to
work as a sportsman, but I also thought that basketball is a sport that I also like
and if I’m more important in the team, I’ll enjoy more minutes.

4. What was your final decision?

I finally decide to play football, because it’s the sport that I enjoy the most since
I was little, I get on well with all the team, and if I don’t fit into the team I’ll be
regret so much time

5. What methods did you employ to make this decision (critical

thinking, representative heuristic, emotional intelligence, etc.)?

I used critical thinking and decision-making skills intuition to think if I’ll be

comfortable or not in which team and if I’ll regret it. I used the foresight too to
predict if I’ll be boring early of it or not

6. How did you put your final decision into action?

I talked to my parents and I said to them that I’ll join football and the reasons for
it, which are methods of decision-making. They said that it was a good idea

7. What were the consequences/outcomes of employing your final

decision?

I’m now on the football team and I think that I took the best decision because I
feel now comfortable, and although we lose too many matches, I enjoy playing
with people that I’ve been playing football with them since I was little
