FOR UNIVERSITY STUDIES

You want to go to Italy for university studies (University Admission)

☐ Long stay form for original entry visa application, completed and signed
Download the form, although it will be given to you upon arrival at the VFS Global center

☐ Biometric photograph
Color passport photo (width 30 mm, height 40 mm), recent (maximum 6 months) with
white background and face Face up, in accordance with ICAO standards

☐ Original passport
With a validity of at least 15 months longer than that of the requested visa and
containing at least Two blank sheets(one facing the other) in order to affix the visa

☐ Photocopy of passport
Photocopy of the biometric data page and all pages containing visas and stamps
entry and exit stamps from the Schengen area.

☐ One-way ticket (ticket) or ticket reservation.

☐ Declaration of availability of accommodation facilities in Italy.

As well as the necessary funds for repatriation, to be demonstrated possibly by a return
air ticket return

☐ Certificate of pre-registration for the course in Italy sent exclusively through the
portal
UniversItaly

☐ Photocopy of the documentation concerning the studies of the previous years in

Algeria

☐ Proof of economic means of subsistence (that of the parents for a minor)

According to the parameters defined by the Italian Ministry of Education (at least 457,99
€ for each month of the duration of the academic year), this proof may be demonstrated
with:
a. Proof of personal or family financial means (bank statements for the last six
months)
b. Financial guarantees provided by reputable Italian institutions or by foreign
authorities considered reliable by the competent Diplomatic Representation

☐ Proof of the parents' socio-professional situation

☐ Medical insurance covering health care and/or possible hospitalization.

2. Foreign insurance policy or insurance policy taken out with an Italian organization
that does not include limitations or
exceptions to the established costs for emergency hospitalization
