Beyond the Five Senses

In this story I learned something amazing. I

learned that animals don’t have only five senses. They can have more! They use their senses to
find food or avoid danger. Some of the senses are common, but others are super amazing.

The “Body-Position sense,” helps us to know where

our body parts are, without this sense animals wouldn’t do the funny, and amazing things they
do. The “Pain sense,” helps us by telling us that we are hurt, or it warn us to stop doing a thing
before we get hurt. The “Temperature sense,” helps some animals to find their prey by special
heat sensors. Some animals use sounds to “see” these animals detect things by echoes, and
they know where they are. Animals like some birds can see extra colors that we don’t see.
There’s more different senses, but I don’t want you to get bored. So, remember that there
many senses beyond the ones they taught us.
