Dear All,

National Senior Men & Women Powerlifting Championship 2022

From 27 – 31 December 2022 in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh
We are very happy to inform you that the 46th Senior National (Men &
Women) Powerlifting Championship 2022 will be held in Bhilai,
Chhattisgarh during 27th to 31st December 2022.

The organizers under the Chhattisgarh State Powerlifting Association

have set the ball in motion to make our prestigious Senior National
Meet the most memorable. They have sought the help and co-operation
of all the member associations of Powerlifting India to make the
championship a resounding success. So we, the Powerlifting India also
make a fervent appeal to all for extending their whole-hearted co-
operation for scripting a saga of long cherishable success for this
championship.

The important points to be born in mind by all are given below:-

1. State championships shall be conducted by all and select the teams

before uploading entries.
2. Entries shall be uploaded on time without mistakes. Photos to be
uploaded shall be of high resolution in white background. Nobody
can compete, unless their names are in the entry uploaded. Please
note that, no changes are possible after final entry is uploaded.
Remember, your federation is following strict rules without diluting
the norms. Please co-operate.
3. The competitors and officials shall strictly observe and follow
technical rules and instructions of Referees / Officials.
4. All equipments including personal ones shall be International
Powerlifting Federation approved and unapproved equipments will
not be permitted.
5. Only the Referees officially invited by the federation shall be on duty. For them
official invitation will reach individually.
6. Referee Exam for Category II will be held along with this championship. Two
candidates from a state can appear for the test. Their names shall be given along with
the state team’s entry for the championship.
7. The organizers have been making arrangements for giving food for all participants.
As for accommodation as per the decisions of the Powerlifting India in the General
Body Meeting on April 2022, accommodation responsibilities for Senior competitors
will be their own. But, the organizers will definitely help the competitors/team’s in
finding suitable accommodation. The names, address and other details of the nearby
hotels will be given sufficiently in advance.
8. It is a matter of great pleasure that from this championship onwards all our future
championships will go live stream. So the organizers have to make perfect
arrangements in every respect.
9. The national championship held in Bhadravathi, Vidharbha was not up to our usual
standard. We have been improving and bettering standards of all our national
championships with the lone exception of Vidharbha case. So all championships
shall have the best standards.
10. The medal giving ceremony in each category will take place immediately after the
competition in that category. So all the competitors of that category shall line-up on
the stage under the leadership of the Technical Controller and all will receive medals
& mementoes.
