Fault report 1 accompanied with upgrading of Digitex Evolve/Pro to Ver. 5.31

Described below are faults that have occurred accompanied with upgrading of
Digitex Evolve/Pro to Ver. 5.31and have been reported as of February 15, 2002.

1. Digitex Evolve only. Image files with patient information input through MWM
(optional) cannot be transferred by DICOM.
The cause is that check of the image transfer library program was too strict to
process DICOM image files with the patient information received from MWM.
To cope with the above, upgrading the “DicomEx.exe” is required. Contact the
person in charge of DR at Medical Systems Quality Assurance Dept. for acquiring such
the program upgrade.

2. In case of Digitex Evolve/Pro + Sonial Vision (ZS-100i/80i), no jogging of a

multi-frame image (serial, DSA, etc.) functions on the SPLIT display by the IVR
MASTER.
The spec. has been revised Ver. 5.31 and after such that cine replays when the
IVR MASTER has been turned rightward/leftward for three seconds or longer and
jogging is activated when it is pushed down for a short period of time. However, the
above mentioned operation is not available on the SPLIT display. The operation on the
SPLIT display remain unchanged.

3. Reaction of the IVR MASTER is slowed.

4. “main.hex” cannot be sent by SCSI.

“main.hex” must be sent by serial line.

5. Pulsed Fluoroscopic images are darkened.

There has been only one report that pulsed fluoroscopic images are darkened
after upgrading. Check those of a 9Bcu phantom before and after upgrading, as a
precaution.

In addition, it has been reported (one case) that the printed images are whitened
as the setting on Li in “MAINTE.DAT” is incorrect (“009” is set).
