F. (Developing Mastery)

Paragraph 1
My favorite painting is “the Weeping Woman” by Pablo Picasso, which is an intriguing painting that symbolizes suffering. As a result, I love bright primary colors, so I wear a lot of s
Shocking yellows, blues and reds. Also, as an outgoing person, I enjoy performing for large crowds. In the end, people should not judge an artist’s talent, based on one standard.
Picasso’s painting even though they are not connected in any way. It can be inferred that the choice of favorite colors was inspired by the colors of the painting, but the writer does
not make this clear.

Paragraph 2
International Women’s Day is celebrated on the 8th of March of every year. It began as a socialist political event in several Western countries. Then, the other countries also started
celebrating the holiday just as a way to express their love for women. Currently, the United Nations observes the holiday as a way to bring to light women’s issues around the world.

Paragraph 3
`Our grandparents have many stories to tell about how they were raised and how they spent their time before. Nowadays, most people are browsing the internet and scrolling on social media.
Life before was different than today. It was a world without most of the technology we have now – smartphones, laptops, and other tech devices. That was considered normal life around 50 years
ago. Each generation has different stories about what is like growing up back in the day. Researching must be very difficult since you have to go through the pages of books, encyclopedias, and other
reference materials to find the information you need. Life seemed to have greatly improved since then.

G. ( Application)

A. I guess I just need a few more sessions to have “muscle memory” and so my delight over driving erases all the displeasure that comes with it. I get that the genuine feeling of joy is being able
to be in control. I hope to conquer the general nervousness that I experience when driving because it is not that bad at all.

B. Driving is both a delight and displeasure. I had realized this when I started taking informal driving lessons with my older sister.

C. I have to constantly check my side and back mirrors, whether I am within my lane or when I might be too close to another vehicle, and if I am clean to turn around corners.

D. All of these I have to take into account without taking my mind off the road and follow its contours with my steering wheel. Who would not get cold sweat at all?

E. However, I think I might be exaggerating on some points I just mentioned earlier. Driving, at some point, is also a relaxing thing. Once I have fixed my gaze on the road and traffic appears
smooth, I get to enjoy the sensation of the gears following the command of my hands.

F. She went patient enough to teach me the basics of driving. I was the one though who was not patient with myself. I always get restless when I take on the wheel because
I feel the pressure of taking in all the information coming right at me while I drive.
