Beautiful Fitted Linen Top

Materials
• 8 Balls of Pierrot La Provence 100% French Linen 40g
• 2.5mm Crochet Hook
• Tapestry needle and pair of scissors

Gauge
• Each block measures 5.5cm x 5.5cm

Finishing
• Finish off by doing a row of crab stitch around the arms and neck line and one row of
dcs around the bottom of the garment.
• Weave in ends with a tapestry needle

Instructions
• Crochet the motif as follows:
• Foudation circle: 6ch, ss to form a ring.
• Row 1: 4ch, *1tr, 1ch into ring. Repeat * 14 times, ss to 3rd starting chain.
• Row 2: 3ch, 4trtog into 1ch-sp, 3ch, **5trtog into 1ch-sp, 3ch. Repeat ** 14 times. Join
with a ss to top of 1st 4trtog.
• Ss into 3ch-space.
• Row 3: (5ch and dc into 3ch-sp, repeat once. For the corner make 5tr, 5ch, 5tr, into next
3ch-sp.) Repeat brackets 3 more times. You should have four corners.
• Join the motifs as you go in the 3rd ch of each 5ch made.

Sizes (please remember this is just a guideline)
• Size Small - Medium: ± 92cm for the first row of motifs = 14 motifs around hip
• Size Large - Extra Large: ± 104cm for the first row of motifs = 18 motifs around hip
• Join a row of motifs for the desired size, measure whether it will fit around the widest
part of your upper body whether bust, middle, or the part around the hip where the
top will end.
