"The effectiveness of lemon and Kamias extract as stain
Remover"
Stains are dirty marks that cannot be easily removed. It is
inevitable to get stains when we are cooking and eating.
Everywhere we go and whatever we do, we can get stains
on our clothes and kitchen. Using commercial bleach can
cause harm to humans and to the environment as well. Related
studies about bleaching have been done include the
Effectiveness of Kamias as an alternative stain remover
(Martinez, 2013) and lemon.
On the other hand, stain is one of the common problems of
households especially to those who cannot afford to buy
expensive bleach. Lemon and Kamias extracts have been used
traditionally for various household purposes, including stain
removal. Lemon is known for its acidic property which can help
break down and remove stains, while Kamias, rich in vitamin C,
may aid in fading and brightening. However, their effectiveness can
vary depending on the type of stain and material.
This research study aims to Compare the potential and
effectiveness of Lemon and Kamias extracts in removing
stains.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following:
1. What are the active components in lemon and
Kamias extracts that contribute to their stain-
removing properties?
2. How do the acidic properties of lemon and Kamias
extracts compare in terms of effectiveness against
different stain types?
3. Are there any fabric types on which these extracts
are effective?
4. What are the environmental implications of using
these natural extracts as alternatives to conventional
chemical stain removers?
5. Could it really remove fabric stain?
6. Is it harmful to us?
7. If it can, how long does it take do so?
8. Who will benefit this?
All of us since it is cost-friendly and all natural.
