During my student teaching placement, I wanted to reach out to parents to introduce myself.

Below is the email I sent to all of my students’ parents.

Good afternoon,

My name is Mallory Williams and I am a third-year student at Thomas College majoring in

Secondary Education Math. I began student teaching in Mrs. Farnham's math class in January,
and will be here through the first week of May. I am enjoying spending my last semester of
college with your students. Currently, I am teaching the three Pre-Algebra classes, and will
eventually be teaching the Geometry class as well.

I have attached a letter from my college that overviews what my time in the classroom looks like.
It also discusses my portfolio requirements and how that may involve your student. If you ever
have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me.
