Invitation to Submit Abstracts & Case Studies

ISGSD 2024 -First International Symposium on Green Industry Initiatives for Sustainable
Industrial Development-2024 (20th& 21st June 2024 –BMICH)
The green economy and sustainable development are inescapable global trends, and industries need
to embrace them to meet the increasing demands in the domestic market and mounting pressure from
the international markets.
The Industrial Development Board (IDB) has scheduled the first International Symposium to take
place on the 20th & 21st of June 2024 at the BMICH. This symposium, held in conjunction with the
International Industry Expo-2024, will focus on the crucial topic of Green industry initiatives for
sustainable industrial development.
The event brings together researchers, academics, and industry professionals worldwide to exchange
research findings on green initiatives, fostering sustainable industrial development.
Further, the ISGSD 2024 Symposium will feature various concurrent events, including the
recognition of Industry Awards for Green Industry Initiatives and themed symposium sessions, each
opened by a keynote address from a renowned expert in the field etc.
The Award Ceremony at the BMICH on the 23rd of June 2024 will acknowledge the most
outstanding research projects, case studies and success stories on green initiatives implemented in
industries /government institutions.
We cordially invite your esteemed institute to submit abstracts and case studies of research projects
for an oral or poster presentation at the ISGSD 2024 Symposium, to be held on the
20th & 21st of June 2024 at the BMICH, Colombo.
