Describe the meals in your country. Answer these questions, then write a text. (75–
words)
1 What meals do people have? When do they have their meals?
We have breakfast between 5-7am, lunch between 12-3 pm, dinner between 7-10pm and a
completely unnecessary extra meal that can be enjoyed in anytime of the day.
2 What do people usually have for breakfast / lunch / dinner?
In breakfast, bread never misses; in breakfast and dinner rice is eaten with almost anything.
3 What types of food / drink are popular in your country?
Anything with rice like “ají de gallina “ and “lomo saltado” are popular here, and chicha is
drank all over the country.
4 Where do people shop for food?
Peruvians tend to cook their own food, but that might be a little hard for workers and students
so they usually buy their meals in local restaurants.
5 Do people often eat out in restaurants?
Workers and students due to their lack of time eat quite often in restaurants.

We usually have more than 3 meals a day in my

country: Peruvians suffer something that highly
affects us and that is that we love our food, we eat a
lot which explain the high obesity rate in Peru.

Peruvians apart of eating the normal 3 meals, they

fall for the temptation of eating something more like
desserts or something that a street cooker offers to
them, which are really common in the streets of
Lima.

I went to USA and it wasn’t good at all, my family

took me there, personally, I didn’t want to go, USA is
not a country that I like that much due to many
reasons but before I was able to reject the travel I was
already in the plane looking at what could I do to lose
time in Disney world.
Once we arrived the weather received us by literally
killing us for how hot it was.

I went through all that and many other issues that my

family caused that I couldn’t enjoy a single day there.

I spent a lot of money because I consumed more lemonade because I had decided to stay
