The Wise Owl

Once there was an old owl living in an oak and she was seeing every day many
things that were happening around her.
One day, the owl saw a boy helping an old man to carry a heavy basket.
The other day, the owl saw how a little girl screamed at her mother. Every day
the old owl saw many things, but each time kept silent about what she saw.
Over time, the owl starts to talk less and less, but this made her hear better.
Now the owl could hear what the people were saying, when were passing by the
trees. One day, she heard a woman telling another person how she saw an
elephant jumping over her fence.
In other day, the owl heard how a young man boast himself to someone else, that
he was perfect and never mistake in his life.
With every passing day, the old owl spoke fewer and heard more. Slowly she
became more and more wise and it became known as the wise owl.

Moral of the Story:

When you speak less, you begin to notice and listen more so you will
become wiser and smarter.

The Thirsty Crow

One hot day, a thirsty crow flew all over the fields looking for water. For a
long time, he could not find any. He felt very weak, almost lost all hope.
Suddenly, he saw a water jug below the tree. He flew straight down to
see if there was any water inside. Yes, he could see some water inside
the jug!

The crow tried to push his head into the jug. Sadly, he found that the
neck of the jug was too narrow. Then he tried to push the jug to tilt for
the water to flow out, but the jug was too heavy.

The crow thought hard for a while. Then, looking around it, he saw some
pebbles. He suddenly had a good idea. He started picking up the
pebbles one by one, dropping each into the jug. As more and more
pebbles filled the jug, the water level kept rising. Soon it was high
enough for the crow to drink. His plan had worked!

Moral: Think and work hard, you may find solution to any problem.
