HEALTH SCIENCES DEPARTMENT Nurse Aide Short-course (12 WEEKS) OBJECTIVES Provide participants with; 1. Knowledge, skills and competences to feed, bath and groom patients thereby contributing to their sense of normalcy and well-being. 2. Health oriented duties such as measuring and recording vital observations. 3. Administrative roles of record keeping that accompany patient care. 4. Contribution to success of the health team locally and internationally. 5. Basic first aid care. Program fee: 150USD Entry Requirements: Minimum of 3 ordinary level subjects. Course duration: 12 weeks [ theory- 4 weeks; clinical placement- 8 weeks]. Class hours: Monday- Friday (0830 to 1630hours) Venue: Astra Campus STARTING DATE: 02 JANUARY 2023.
