1. I think it is steps 1 and 3 because in step 3 the researchers will just choose or select materials
relevant to their study, they can use studies that have already been done as their basis to select
the appropriate materials, meanwhile, in step 1 the researchers will just specify the variables that
they are going to experiment or measure

2. In steps 2 and 4, experimenters may struggle in these steps as these 2 require more knowledge,
you can’t just pick or choose what materials to buy and what test to do. In step 2 researchers
need knowledge about methods and tools for their chosen variables to be measured, if their
knowledge isn’t enough then it’s time to seek professional help. Step 4, includes data analysis
and assessment wether it supports the hypotheses that require more time, effort, and knowledge.
3. There are a lot of things an experimenter needs to identify when planning for a research design
this includes: hypotheses, variables, measurement tools, procedures/methods, data analysis
plan, experimental design, and sampling method.
1. When students enter a new school year and quarter all of them take a “pre-test”
examination to test their prior knowledge about topics they were about to tackle.
Teachers, on the other hand, teach the students the whole quarter/SY for them to learn
and improve. At the end of the SY, they will take another exam “post-test exam” to see
changes for the past months of planting knowledge.

1. Students who have no study routine sometimes tend to fail exams and quizzes. To h elp
they were encouraged to do flashcard techniques, wherein they use flashcards to recall
terminologies and topics. By using this technique they already have a study routine that
they can use every time and is recommended by many as it helps a student study easier
and smarter.

1. Effect of exercising in reducing the stress of grade 10-SSC. The 44 students of grade 10-
SSC will be randomly assigned to either the treatment group or the control group. One
one group is exposed to the intervention (treatment) they will participate in certain
exercises like jogging and walking for 30 minutes, every MWF, for 5 weeks. While the
other group is not exposed to the intervention (control group) they will be assigned to do
their daily routines without any exercise.

1. Effects of amount of day off on office workers’ mental health. Workers will be randomly
assigned to treatment or control groups. Group A will receive special treatment they will
receive more days off than usual. Group B, on the other hand, will stay on their normal
schedule of day off.

1. The impact of colorful reading materials on Reading Comprehension in Grade 1 students.
2 sections in Grade 1 will be classroom a and b. Classroom a will use colorful reading
materials during catch up Friday, while class room b will use reading materials with
almost no colors like dictionary.

2. Effects of a commercial plant fertilizer in the growth of gumamela plant. The treatment
group will receive a commercial plant fertilizer while the control group will receive no
special treatment only water and sunlight. Conclusions will be drawn after analyzing the
differences between 2 groups.
