and an arrow in GLCD that can be
designed by user. You can design your
pictures in Photoshop, MSPaint ,etc and
you can load that pictures GLCD Logo
Editor.
You can view the original picture
from the window named as original and
you can view the form that will be sent to
GLCD from the icon named window.

To do this please follow the steps below.

1- Design a picture by using a picture program. GLCD Logo Editor can work with colourful
pictures but some loses can occur when it is transformed to GLCD Format. If you follow the
below object loses will be minimum.
a) Design pictures white/black(monochrome)
b) Resolution of Full screen pictures must be 240*128, icons

with an integer(480*256 and192*186)
c) Detailed pictures will have loses in the low resolution.
2- Before running GLCD Programmer please close the windows which are unnecessary. Because
sending logo to GLCD requires processor power and timing is important to do this.

correctly and the serial port is true. Then click ''create logo and send'' button.
4- The Program will contact with GLCD and copy the files to PC that are loaded before(picture,

-7-
6- GLCD uses different algorithms during transforming to GLCD format. The pictures that are
loaded to GLCD will have a new dimension automatically, and colourful pictures becomes
colourless. If details are important we advice you to use sensitivity setup is detailed, and if
details are not important (like graphics, texts, logos) we advice you to use undetailed setup.
Undetailed setup is chosen by default. You can load the same picture with different setup and
see the result from the icon window. Lastly loaded picture will be valid and will be sent to
GLCD.
7- Click ''load picture'' button and choose the picture. Transform will start in the same time. You
can follow the process from the state bar. When the process is okay you will see 'the picture
is transformed successfully' message.
8- Follow the steps from 5 to program picture, icon and arrow again.
Index and format selection > sensitivity selection >loading picture
9-When you finished everything click send to LCD button. Saving period will start and you can
see the period from state bar. If an error occurs click the same button again. If the same error is
continuing you have to restart GLCD (without closing GLCD Logo Editor) and click send to
LCD button

did not occur pictures are ready. You can reach full screen pictures, icons, arrows from the GLCD
