LEARNER CALA GUIDE

Learning area : Mathematics

Level : Ordinary level

Duration : 2 weeks

Name of School : Monte Rosa College

CALA Component :A

Name of learner :……………………………………………

Centre Number : ………………… Candidate No………….

Syllabus Topic : Matrices

Background

It has been noted that learners struggle with conceptualization and application of matrices in their
daily lives or in business. This has made application of matrices in any business setup to appear
as abstract and more difficult. You are therefore to apply the concept practically, by analyzing
the given business setup and come up with appropriate matrices. Use your matrices knowledge to
answer the questions given to you.
