Reg.: Observance of 'Veer Bal Diwas' on 26thDecember, 2023.

Greetings from Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh!

Kindly note that the Government of India has decided to Observe 26th December
as Veer Bal Diwas to pay tribute to the Supreme sacrifice made by Sahibzada
Zorawar Singh & Sahibzada Fateh Singh. On this occasion, the Hon'bleprime
Minister will virtually address the students of Classes 9 to 12.

Accordingly 20 December 2023, will be a working day for the students of classes
IX to XII. The students should report to School in regular Winter School uniform,
without books, with tiffin and water bottle as per the Winter School Timings. They
may be picked up as per the normal School timings. However, your wards using the
school transport will be picked up and dropped back.
