INTRODUCTION

THC is the psychoactive component of the cannabis plant, known for its
ability to produce a high. Cannabis has been used for thousands of years for
medicinal and recreational purposes. THC works by binding to cannabinoid
receptors in the brain, affecting memory, pleasure, thinking, coordination,
and perception. It can also cause side effects such as increased heart rate, dry
mouth, impaired judgment, and hallucinations, particularly at higher doses.
There is ongoing research into the potential medical benefits of THC,
particularly in managing chronic pain and neurological disorders such as
epilepsy. However, its long-term effects on brain development and mental
health are still being studied, and its use remains illegal in many places.

Problem Statement

What number of students uses Marijuana (weed) in

Mac CSE?

3
Research Objective

To Find out the amount of students using marijuana

in Mac CSE.

4
Methodology
The researcher
used a structured questionnaire to collect demographic data, marijuana use trends, and atti
tudes and awareness about the issue. The questionnaire inquired about frequency, affects
on academics and recognizing the dangers of use.
Data was collected anonymously and processed statistically.
However, the approach is limited by potential response bias, as students may underreport
or overreport their marijuana use due to social desirability bias or fear of punishment.
Despite this, the SBA hopes to learn more about marijuana usage trends, attitudes, and pe
rceptions, which will be useful for policymaking and interventions.

10
Recommendations
 The teachers should enforce random drug test to their students.
 Encourage students that use to get some type of help like counseling.
 Staff members should organize programs to educate and help students
remain marijuana free.

11
Reflection
The researcher learned that less than half of people have experience with marijuana.
During this SBA the researcher learned
since through life, you must make more responsible decisions while considering others; y
ou can have fun while maintaining responsible.

The SBA could’ve been improved by adding more questions to obtain more information.

One social impact of marijuana legalization is the potential reduction in criminalization

and incarceration rates for non-violent drug offenses. Economically, it can lead to job
creation and tax revenue generation through the legal marijuana industry.
