Gateway
Reliable and Redundant Networking

The Gateway is a requirement in an EcoSmart

wireless network. Each ateway establishes a
wireless channel and PAN (personal area net-
work) that groups of EcoSmart products will
join.

Using Zigbee mesh topology, the Gateway and

related EcoSmart devices function on very low
wireless power. Therefore, the EcoSmart
Zigbee network co-exists with many other 2.4
GHz devices and even Wi-Fi in the same build-
ing.
