Exercise #1

Read the following dialogue between JOHN and LEA and pay
attention to the language used for giving suggestions. Underline
the words or phrases that indicate suggestions

(Lee siguiente diálogo entre John y Lea. Observa las expresiones utilizadas
para dar sugerencias y subráyalas.)

John: Hi Lea! I'm considering taking a trip and I'm looking for some
suggestions. May you help me?

Lea: Of course! You might want to consider visiting the Dominican Republic
for your vacation. It's a beautiful country with vibrant culture and friendly
people.

John: That sounds wonderful. Can you recommend any specific places or art
spaces in the Dominican Republic?

Lea: You could explore the Altos de Chavón in La Romana. It's a charming
Mediterranean-style village with galleries and artisan shops.

John: Are there any other art spaces or museums worth visiting?
Lea: You may enjoy the Centro León in Santiago. It's a cultural center with
exhibitions showcasing Dominican art and history.

John: Those places sound amazing. I'm definitely considering a trip to the
Dominican Republic now. Thanks for your suggestions!

Exercise #2
Write the complete sentences that indicated suggestions from the dialogue
in Exercise #1. Then, change the recommendation for an original one, using
the same verb for suggestions.
