Given are the charts illustrating how many pence was spent per head on fast foods every

week
by British people of 3 financial status in 1990 and how fast foods consumption tendency
changed from 1970 to 1990.

Overall, we can see that people with high and average income purchased more hamburgers
while those earning less mainly paid for fish and chips. Moreover, pizza consumption was the
only category to have a downward trend.

Looking at the bar chart, people of high income predominated the weekly expenditure of
hamburger with about 42 pence a person, compared to under 20 pence of pizza and fish and
chips. Hamburger was also the most frequent spent category among those with average
income, accounted for around 32 pence/person/week, followed by fish and chips at 25 and
pizza at just over 10. However, the highest weekly spending of low income people was 17 pence
a person on fish and chips and the lowest was on pizza at just 7 pence, with hamburger at
approximately 15 in between.
