 End of life and support of MorphoWave Towers and OEM


 New warranty policy for MorphoWave Compact series

Dear Partners and Customers,

Since the launch of MorphoWave Tower in 2015, the technology has become the benchmark
in high assurance frictionless access control. The popularity and success of the technology
was further reinforced by the introduction of MorphoWave Compact in 2018, which immediately
received multiple industry awards, and achieved rapid adoption globally.

This second generation, more compact and powerful thanks to the introduction of enhanced
algorithms has rapidly spread on the market and logically replaced the MorphoWave Tower as
a bestseller.

IDEMIA will now logically focus on this new generation to propose you advanced services.

1. MORPHOWAVE COMPACT MAINTENANCE (Covering 2020)

We are pleased to announce that as part of our new support & maintenance general terms,
MORPHOWAVE COMPACT devices will benefit from a two years warranty from product
delivery associated to support and maintenance services including the following services
items:

 Hardware support covering repair or replacement service activities


 Access to firmware releases to benefit from the latest features and fixes
 Access to software releases to benefit from the latest features and fixes
 Access to remote support service through our 24h/7days call center
The application of these new general terms will be effective retroactively from January, 1st
2020.
2. SOLUTIONS FOR THE EXISTING MORPHOWAVE TOWER INSTALLATIONS

MorphoWave Compact range was introduced more than two years ago and it is now time to
announce the complete end of life and support of MorphoWave Tower and OEM.

As a result, starting June 2021, the situation will be the following:

 Will my legacy installation continue to work ?


Yes

 Will I be able to introduce a MorphoWave Compact in my legacy installation?


Yes - you have the possibility to introduce the new MorphoWave Compact associated
to his pedestal in an existing installation in respect of the original design or aesthetic
objectives.

 Will the legacy MorphoWave Tower be maintained ?


No - No more firmware evolution will be performed and support will be limited to
installation covered by a maintenance contract.

 Can I still purchase MorphoWave Towers and OEM kits to continue my exact same
installation?
Yes - You can purchase MorphoWave towers and/or MorphoWave OEM kits at a
preferential price until the end of December 2020. After that date no assurance is
given regarding stock availability.

 Can I still benefit from a maintenance contract ?


Yes - we can propose you services dedicated to your specific needs. Those
services can be composed of, but not limited to, the following:
o Management of a security stock at your preferred premises (IDEMIA or others)
o Consulting services to help you benefit for an optimized usage of the Tower or
OEM and enable a smooth anticipation of transition to MorphoWave Compact:
 Site audit
 Remote or on-site support related to MorphoWave Tower/
MorphoManager installation
 VIP/fast track access to support expert level

 Until when can I contract such services ?


In order to provide you with sufficient time to anticipate and evaluate your need for
those services, they can be contracted up to March 2021.
