1. Glass jars, coffee containers, and plastic bags

2. First from an environmental perspective, reuseable bottles make it so you don't need to buy a
new bottle every time you drink which obviously causes less pollution. From an economic
perspective it is a bit different because it would mean some compainies wouldent be able to
produce plastic bottles anymore which would decrease their income but, it would also make it
so countries like Canada wont must pay other countries like China to dump our waste. From a
social perspective I think that people would be happier having less trash around them and be
happier for the environment.

4. They will give you money for empty plastic bottles and will have charities set up to help clean
up beaches and the ocean.

1. a) it means that whenever the companies come out with a new improved product the people
that buy the new product will have thrown out the old version of the product and that will go
straight to the trash. When we have people buying billions of new products every year it adds up
and causes a lot of pollution.
b) The thing that inspires people in the middle of the night to line up til the morning to buy
these products is that they think the new products are way better than the old ones and
because since they will be the first to have these products nobody else will have them for
another month or two.

1. The viewpoint I would like to argue is the 4th viewpoint about multi-car families. I think that it is
very true that now cars use way less fuel than cars from 50 years ago. Cars from now compare
to in the 50s use 2x less fuel than the cars from 50 years ago and it is facts.
2. a) I think they used resources in an environmentally responsible way by reuseing way more
things and that they didnt produce as much waste by eating all the things on their plate. I think
that they wernt acting environmentally responsible by having all of their energy sources fosiil
fuels.

P99

1. People can reuse the same bags to buy food and they can also buy more unpackaged foods.
