NARRATIVE REPORT ON CATCH-UP FRIDAY

In line with MATATAG: Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa in accordance with

the continuous commitment of the DepEd towards improvement of literacy and numeracy
and the promotion of life long learning, Cadandanan NHS took another step in participating
the kick-off activity of Catch-up Friday. The program aims to provide additional support for
the students who may be struggling in their academic status.

The day began with an orientation of the suggested activities by the school principal,
Sir Glendo C. Claudio, with the teachers. Sir Claudio emphasized the significance of Catch
Up Fridays in addressing academic gaps and fostering a positive learning environment.

Following the orientation, the students proceeded to their respective classrooms for
the start of Catch Up Fridays session. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as
teachers implemented engaging activities designed to assess the students’ current
academic standing. Teachers utilized various instructional strategies to cater diverse
learning styles and diagnostic assessments were administered.

The orientation and first day of Catch Up Friday marked a successful start. With
strong foundation laid through comprehensive planning, dedicated teachers, supportive
school principal and active participation from students. The program is planned to make a
positive impact on the academic journey of the students throughout the academic year.
