Block 3: “Storytime at High School”

As young people, teenagers need to express and communicate their thoughts and
feelings, so, you will create a special #StoryTime about a special moment lived at the
“Prepa 8” with a video, you must include:

1. A personal presentation with your name, age and group.


2. A story about your favorite moment. Can be something funny or special; it can
be about another student (no hurtful stories -- only positive), an event, a
teacher o, or something that happened in the classroom that was especially
memorable.
3. Conclude your video with a phrase about what to expect next semester (your
last one in high school).

Do not forget:

 First, you’ll deliver your script to be reviewed, on the date established by the
teacher and printed with a cover (with name, group, title of the project,
subject, teacher and date of delivery).
 Use at least 15 sentences with mixed tenses studied during the semester: Past
simple and continuous to tell the story but also consider the other structures
seen in class (if it´s necessary to develop your presentation and conclusion)
Present simple and continuous, Future with “will”/“going to”, and Conditionals
(zero and 1), highlight them in your text. Remember to include the points from
the previous section (presentation, the story, etc)
 Video must last between 1:30 and 2 minutes.
 Rehearse before you record your video. You can correct pronunciation,
intonation, and rhythm.
 You HAVE TO appear in front of camera ALL the time, but you can use photos,
other videos, or use your favorite place in school to film your video. Check

the specific indications from your teacher.
