ITALY
The name for Italy comes from Greek “Italos”, a legendary king and it’s a beautiful
country known for their rich culture, ancient architecture, music, and an impressive
history, but the source of their national pride is Italian cusine, the food in Italy like a
storm has taken over the world, their foods are simple usually it involve 4 to 8
ingredients at any one time and the quality of the ingredients they’ve used in their food
is highly to make their finished product very special, they more on focus in the quality
of the food and how it taste not how elaborate a dish might be. Their recipes are rich in
olive oil instead of using other fats, most of them always made from scratch so there
are no processed foods involved, no artificial ingredients, there are plenty of
vegetables and fresh fruits involved. One of their famous food in Italy is Pizza, Pasta,
Lasagna, also Italian known for having a best wine because each native grape has it
own unique texture, taste, character with the estimates of 2000 native variety of grapes
in Italy that’s the reason why Italy is called the “Land of Wine” Italians wine have been
always designed to be paired in their food so they known for the commandment “thy
shall drink wine with food”. Also their overall food considered as the most favored
cuisine in the world considering their country are simply located in the perfect place on
Earth to plant some vegetables and fresh fruits. that’s why the Italy got the rank 16 of
the healthiest population country in the world of January 21, 2024.

As an Individual, student, Filipino who loved trying new things especially in foods
and drinks, Italy is one of my dream country that I want to go, not only because their
foods but also their personality. People in Italy often known for their being passionate,
warm, and friendly. They’ve always value strong bond and enjoying socializing to
others. I remember our family had a friend who was from in Italy. He help my
grandmother to go in abroad to bring out our family from poverty. That also the reason
why I want to go there to find that person to personally thanked him and to adapt some
of their cuisine since I’m from Pampanga (known for having delicious food that’s why
Pampanga is the culinary art in the Philippines), so there’s special place in my heart to
those country who value, inventing, experimenting foods.

In conclusion, Italy known for their rich culture, language, history, especially in their
rich foods and drinks. That’s why their country was always in the list for being healthy,
destination, and foods and also because of their warm, passionate, and friendly
personality so the Italy known in the whole world and many people from around the
world who want to visit the Italy especially me who from the province who has also a
rich cuisine and who love exploring new things, foods, and places.
