First lets talk about body temperature. A normal body temperature for adults is 98.6 degrees
fahrenheit or 37° celsius however some people may have a slightly higher or lower baseline
temperature and their readings may still be considered normal.

The second vital sign we’ll discuss is heart rate which is the number of times your heart beats
per minute. The normal range for adults is between 60 and 100 beats per minute however
athletes or individuals who exercise regularly may have a lower resting heart rate which is also
considered normal.

Next let's talk about blood pressure which measures the force of blood against the walls of your
arteries. A normal blood pressure reading for adults is below 120 over 8, however blood
pressure can vary depending on factors such as age gender and overall health.

Finally we'll talk about respiratory rate which measures the number of breaths a person takes
per minute the normal range for adults is between 12 and 20 breaths per minute, however
respiratory rates can vary depending on factors such as age, gender and overall health.

Your blood oxygen level Is a measure of how much oxygen your red blood cells are carrying an
anterior blood gas and pulse oximeter are two ways of measuring your blood oxygen level.

These guidelines will help you understand what your result might mean

A normal oxygen level for healthy lungs may fall between 80 to 100 mm Hg If measured with an
anterior blood gas or 95 to 100% if measured with the pulse oximeter normally an anterior blood
gas reading below 80 mm Hg or a pulse oximeter reading below 95% is considered low usually
only those with health conditions that cause low oxygen states are us to check their levels.
