Thank you for purchasing our new SIP Scootershop Vespa PX 80-200 E Lusso/'98/MY/'11.
Before use, please read the instruction thoroughly and keep it for future reference.
NOTICE
1. The SIP LCD meter runs on AC/DC 12V.
2. For installation, please follow the steps described in this manual.
3. To avoid short circuit, please don’t pull the wire when installing. Don’t break or modify the cable head.
4. Stick to the manual and do not disassemble or change any other parts.

2.1 WIRING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
Wiring Instructions for DC models (See 2.2)

2.2 WIRING INSTRUCTIONS OF AC/DC MODELS
Step 1 Step 6
Loosen the four screws of the handlebar cover. Connect the red and brown wire with the
white wire using the enclosed wire connectors.
1. Alternative connection option DC models:
Black (DC): Ground wire connect to chassis or
engine; Red (DC):positive pole, connect to battery;
Brown (DC): connect to permanent not switched

Remove handlebar cover, remove speedometer 2. Alternative connection option AC models:
cable and multiplug from speedometer. Black (AC): Ground wire connect to chassis or
engine; Red (AC): connect to permanent not
switched power supply . Brown (AC): use the same
connecting point as used for the power pole.

4.1 SWITCHING BETWEEN THE FUNCTIONS

5.1 TROUBLE SHOOTING
The following situations do not indicate a malfunction of the meter. Please check the following before sending it in for repair.

5.1 TROUBLE SHOOTING
Symptom Cause Solution

5.1 TROUBLE SHOOTING
Symptom Cause Solution
"FUEL" warning display is Float on the petrol cock defective. When removed, lift the float on the fuel tap / fuel gauge, then
