Dear Parent/Guardian,

This is to inform you that as part of the testing service of the Guidance and Counseling
office, we administer tests among students to assess their cognitive ability, personality, interests,
aptitude, etc. to help them become more self-aware and understand their predispositions and
skills.

Below, you can find the results and interpretation of the tests that your child had taken.
We would like to clarify that the results presented were in no way diagnostic in nature. Test-
taking can be affected by a couple of factors like mood and motivation of the test taker; hence,
the results may not be absolute.

Score Description

Raw Score- refers to the number of items answered correctly


School Ability Index (SAI) - The SAI is determined by comparing raw scores amongst children
within the same age group.
Percentile Rank- shows the student’s relative standing in comparison to other students of the
same age.
Stanine- normalized standard scores with a range of 1 to 9
Verbal Description- verbal equivalent of the numerical score
