Paragraph 1

Phrase 1: ancient trees stood like guardian of forgotten tales

Description: This tells the readers that the trees looked tall and big in size. It tells the readers that
there looked as if there was a secret hidden deep inside the forest, The write used the simile
“guardian of forgotten tales” to further emphasize how the trees cover up the forest, keeping
unwanted visitors from entering. This phrase gives the reader a sense of mysteriousness.

Phrase 2: vibrant colours painting a mosaic on the forest floor

Description: This phrase tells the reader that the blooming flowers were all very colourless and they
all had lots of different variety of light colours that helped to enhance the dull trail of the forest floor.
This hence gives the reader an image of the way how different colourful colours all mixed together,
creating a carpet and giving the forest trail light. This phrase gives the reader a sense of cheerfulness.

Phrase 3: the symphony of rustling leaves

Description: It helps to tell the reader that the surrounding in the forest is windy and the leaves were
all moving as if they were in an orchestra, making nice rhythm of musical notes. It tells the reader
that the forest was clam and peaceful because soft, relaxing music made by the leaves could be
heard around the forest.

Phrase 1: the sound of the rushing stream echoed through the ancient grove

Description: This phrase tells the reader that the sound coming from the water from the torrent
stream of water could be heard anywhere in the forest. It gives the reader a sense of loneliness and
loudness due to the fact that only sounds of water could be heard.

Phrase 2: harmonizing with the melodic calls of unseen creatures

Description: This phrase tells us that there wasn’t just the sound of water that could be heard inside
the forest. There were also sounds coming from animals that were hiding. This phrase gives the
reader a sense of mysteriousness due to the undiscovered animals.

Phrase 3: the forest seemed to breathe a life of its own

Description: This phrase tells us how breathtaking and how beautiful the forest looked by using
personification to describe them as if they were in a whole different world. It helps the reader to
better imagine the scenery and overall view of the forest. It gives the reader a sense of admiration
and vitality because of its liveliness.
