Synopsis
The Supreme Court of India will hear Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's plea against
his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in a money-laundering case related to the
excise policy on April 15. Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 after the high court
declined to shield him from coercive action by the agency.
"Inside the jail, Arvind Kejriwal is being tortured at the behest of the
Government of India and PM Modi," said Singh.
Meanwhile, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann will meet the Delhi
Chief Minister on Monday at Tihar Jail.
Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21, hours after the high court
refused to grant him protection from coercive action by the federal anti-
money laundering agency.
