IV. PROCEDURES
A. Introduction  The teacher will present the objectives of the lesson.
 The teacher will have a review
 To motivate the learners and introduce the lesson the teacher will
show a picture. The students will choose a name from the box on the
right, and write it next to each item of the personal protective
equipment.
B. Development  The teacher will share slides about the different personal protective
equipment.
 The teacher will discuss the uses and importance of wearing proper
protective equipment in home or workplace.

C. Engagement  The learner engaged himself/herself in an activity “Dress UP”. The


teacher will ask the students to dress up the model. The student will
pick a PPE then describe it.

D. Assimilation  The teacher will asks the following questions:


1. What is personal protective equipment?
2. Explain the importance of wearing proper PPE?
3. What will happen if you will not use the proper PPE?

facilitate the activity entitled “Photo Bucket”. The teacher will present
a picture showing different activities Emergency-Related Drills and
Training. The learners will have to interpret or analyze what the
picture is all about.
F. Development  The teacher will share slides about the emergency-related drills and
training like fire safety, earthquake, and first aid.
 The teacher will discuss the importance of emergency-related drills.
G. Engagement  The learner engaged himself/herself in an activity “Go and Show”.
The learners will conduct an actual Fire Drill, Earthquake Drill and
First Aid.
 The teacher will group students into three.
 The teacher will explain the rules and rubrics of the activity.
H. Assimilation  The teacher will asks the following questions:

1. What is a fire safety, earthquake, and first aid?


2. What is an emergency drill and what are they used for?
3. Why are safety drills important?
