Kaleidoscopes work on the principle of multiple reflections.

The mirrors reflect the images of objects inside, creating a symmetrical pattern.
When you look at your reflection in one mirror, you see the light that has come
from your face and bounced off the mirror.
When looking through the hole, light filters through the glass (or clear plastic)
on the end of the object chamber and illuminates the objects, which then
reflect off of all of the mirrors. The reflections bounce off of one another as the
light passes through the tube, creating the patterns.
USES OF A KALEIDOSCOPE
it is used by artists to create new patterns and to draw them.
It is used by designers to design rugs/cloths.
It is used to get different glass patterns.
It is often used as a toy by kids.
Often used to explore new patterns as a pattern never repeats itself.
