distance from 𝐴 to 𝐵 is 110𝑘𝑚 and 𝐵 is 60𝑘𝑚 east of 𝐴.

Calculate the bearing of 𝐵 from 𝐴, giving your answer correct to the nearest degree. (4 marks)

2) Brittany walks from store 𝐿 to store P on a bearing of 235°. If the stores are 20𝑚 away from
each other, With the use of a suitable diagram, determine the distance Brittany would walk south
and west. Express answers correct to 1 decimal place. (6 marks)

3) Ships A, B and C are all out at sea. Ship A is at a distance of 8𝑘𝑚 from ship B on a bearing of
045°. Ship 𝐶 is on a bearing of 135° from ship A at a distance of 6𝑘𝑚.
