Subject: Cancellation of Traditional Holiday Party

Dear Employees,
I hope this email finds you well. As we approach the holiday season, it is with a
heavy heart that I must inform you that we will be canceling our traditional holiday
party this year. I understand that this event has become legendary over the years,
and many of you look forward to it each year. Unfortunately, due to the decline in
sales of our country and rockabilly recordings, we have had to make some difficult
decisions.
As you all know, we recently had to lay off 150 of our 350 employees, and the
company is facing some tough financial times. We have had to take some severe
austerity measures. While we understand the importance of coming together as a
team and celebrating our accomplishments, we simply cannot justify the expense of
a large holiday party this year. We hope you can understand our decision and
appreciate your continued dedication to the company during these challenging
times.
We will continue to do our best to support our employees and navigate this difficult
period. We hope to come back stronger than ever and celebrate together in the
future.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
John Hobs
