ABSTRACT
Mosquito-borne diseases pose a significant threat to human health. In recent years, there
has been growing interest in finding natural and effective mosquito repellents. This
research abstract aims to investigate the potential of Citrus maxima and Chromalena
odorata as mosquito repellents.
Citrus maxima, also known as pomelo, is a citrus fruit native to Southeast Asia. It is known
for its pleasant scent and potential insect-repellent properties. Chromalena odorata,
commonly known as Siam weed, is a flowering plant native to the Americas. It has been
traditionally used for its medicinal properties and is believed to have insect-repellent
effects.
