f)Method of use:
Step I: Applying henna to hair - In this step only henna is
applied all over the hair from roots and allow the paste to sit for 1 to 2
hours depending on one's individual tastes. Grey hair changes to deep
orange.
Step II: Applying Indigo to hair - In this step Indigo hair
dye is applied all over hair and allow the paste to sit for 1 to 2 hours
depending on one's individual tastes. Now the orange hair turns to
black colour.

g) Side effects: Indigo may irritate the eyes and may cause
dermatitis. So, do a patch test before applying it.
 Rubia cordifolia- MANJISTHA/MADDER
a) Scientific name: Rubia cordifolia

 Cassia obovata- COLORLESS HENNA

f) Method of use: (i) Mix powder with warm water let sit for 15-30 minutes.
Make sure your mixture is like pancake batter. Apply the cassia paste onto clean
hair. Wrap your hair and leave on for at least an hour.
(ii) For golden tones , let the paste sit for 3-4 hours and leave
the paste on hair for 3-4 hours.

 Sapindus mukorossi-RITHA
a) Scientific name: Sapindus mukorossi

f) Method of use: (i) Use soap nut powder in place of your regular
shampoo by applying it’s paste.

Kindly note that these 100% Natural organic hair colors , made just with pure and natural organic herbs, hence it needs proper
understanding of natural products, it has certain limitations, which should not be considered as defect but beauty of Mother Nature
Those who understand natural , they know, it, still following points may be considered important and be educated-
1. Its result should never be compared with 100% chemical hair colors,

2. Its coloring intensity and retention is weaker in comparision to that of 100% chemical hair colors, it is mother nature.

3. But it is safe for body and health and have no side effects, allergy, and harm to body
hence it is for those who are health conscious or are allergic to chemicals.

4. Color stay on hair from 1 to 3 weeks, depending on health of hair of person using it.

5. If hair have been treated badly in past or with chemicals too much, or health of hair is poor then in first application good results may not
be achieved and product need to be applied 2 or three times , with a interval of at least 24 hours between two applications, product first
neutralizes the damage of hair and repair it, there after become acquainted to hair and further good results are achieved in just single
application.

6. In few people it may be noticed that a small portion of hair in roots are not covered with colour and remain grey whereas grey on all
other parts of hair is duly covered. It is due to the fact that their hair roots are oily and this oil rises from root to a small portion of hair, and
hence that small portion of hair do not get colour.

7. Immediately after wash, one may feel as if no color have come, but do not panic, soon in few minutes color will start darkening and
gradually keep on darkening.

8. In rare cases very few persons are even sensitive to herbs also, then those very few persons may have allergy, hence we have advised patch
test before use. some persons are even allergic to flowers, pollen grains, or even fragrance like in japan and in india too. on rest other product do
not cause any side effect or allergy

9. With our soft black color , very few people may feel tingling effect during application due to presence of indigo herb , it is normal, so nothing
to worry about, unless they are allergic to indigo herb.

10. Most of the people will get good results, but very few persons, after application may get slight violet or purple tone with soft black color or
orangish tone temporarily with brown or light brown color, which may go away in just few hours. This happens in very few persons only mostly
during the time of weather change. If purple tone or excess orangish tone still persists after 24 hours, then take following action-

- if a person get purple tone, then he/ she may apply just natural henna paste made freshly by adding water to henna powder, leave it on hair
for one hour and rinse off with water. Purple tone will go away immediately and hair will become black. Or use just our brown color

- if a person get excess orangish tone, then kindly apply our organic soft black over orangish , leave it on hair for one hour and rinse off with
water. Orangish tone will go away immediately and hair will become dark.

11. If your hair have bleached streaks then during first application over bleached portion only color may turn greenish, as bleaching does
maximum harm to hair, so it may require more then one application on bleached portion to repair the damage and thereafter just in single
application good color will come. After that please do not bleach or streak your hair.

12. Some time immediately after wash one may get greenish tone, do not worry it is always temporary and go away in few minutes. It may be
due to use of chlorinated water and during weather change. So kindly use RO water to make the paste.
Common mistake people make: :

A - many people think it is HENNA and treat it like that, it is not just henna but mixture of more then one
various organic herbs , henna is just one of the herbs. Henna is a single herb.

B - General practice with pure henna is that after making paste is left idle for 1 or two hours so that its
natural coloring component called Lawsone get activated in large quantity and good dark coloring is
obtained, but it is no so with other herbs which are present in our organic hair colors, hence after
making paste with our organic hair color powder, please apply it on hair immediately, do not leave paste
to set like henna before application

C- Once water is added in powder to make paste, reaction between water and various herbs present in
powder starts, this reaction should take place on hair for coloring, if you leave the paste idle for some
time before application, its reaction is already over when you apply on hair, and it will not color your hair.

D- Hair Darkening effect -it is to cover grey / white hair, for example if you have brown hair and some white hair, then
you should apply brown color, if you have dark brown hair and some white hair, then you should apply dark brown
color.

E- Hair Lightening effect if you want to apply say wine red on black hair, for fashion, then you may not get red color on
black hair by first application, it may just give some reddish tint on black hair, you need to apply several time with a gap
of at least 24 hours between each application to get red color. One need to have patience if you want lighter color on
dark colored hair.

This is the unique feature of this organic hair color, all hair colors are just darkening colors, in other words make light
hair darker, and if you want to color your dark hair to lighter color, then first you need to bleach and then apply lighter
color shade, this is the normal way for chemical hair colors.
But with our organic hair color, as I explained you above, it can even make darker hair to lighter color, but you need to
have lot of patience and apply may be 7-8 times, but you do not need bleaching which is quite harmful for hair, and it
also opens up a new segment of buyers-teenager for fashion. No parent will allow teenagers to bleach their hair
because it is harmful, but with organic hair colors teenagers can also use it for fashion to color, red, burgundy,
mahogany, strawberry blonde etc. without bleaching as I explained above.
 Limitation and Precaution of Organic Hair Color
• Its application time is at least 60 min. which is longer than the chemical hair colors.
• In order to achieve a darker color of any shade leave paste on hair for a longer duration of time and apply heat.
• When color is first applied it may not provide optimal results; especially if hair has been badly damaged by chemical
processing in the past. As a result it may be necessary to repeat the process 2 to 3 times in order
• to achieve the desired results. This should be done in 24 hour intervals.
• Shampoo and conditioner is not required after rinsing hair but can be used if desired.
• Once the process is complete it is important to note that hair may continue to become darker over a period of up to five
days. Organic hair colors will oxidize and become deeper, and richer in color within the first few days. Result may vary
person to person.
• It is for Health Conscious people. So understanding about natural product is very important.
• Its mild nature and limitations should not be considered as defect or shortfall but a beauty of nature, for the safety of your
health.
• Few person may get tingling effect or a mild itching on scalp during application, nothing to worry about, as presence of
indigo herb may cause this effect in some person
• It give best result on people who have upto 30-40% grey hair. It may not impact exact color on person with 100% grey hair,

Q.: How to reduce orangish tone that sometime appears after
applying blonde colour?
A. :To reduce orangish tone you may follow following options-
a) Kindly mix Beige blonde powder with our Organic colourless
henna powder
For example take 3 parts of beige blonde powder and mix with
one part of colourless henna, you may increase or decrease the
qty of colourless henna as per your desired results.
Or
b) You may add few drops of fresh lemon juice along with water
in beige blonde while making paste. It will reduce the orangish
tone.
Q.: If Radico hair colours are made up of organic herbs than in
few people why they cause allergy/itching? Do they contain
any textile dye like other companies are doing?
A.: It is 100% natural product made of just organic herbs. Slight
itching or tingling effect may be there temporarily due to
presence of herb indigo. It may cause slight tingling
effect, in some persons, for short time. Nothing to worry about.

Q.: Which colour do I need to apply if my hair is dark brown
with very faint red undertone, if I want it to be very dark? Is
soft black darker than dark brown?
A.: If you want darker then soft black is perfect.

it will start getting darker. Next day it would be much better.
Just watch for two days, in case if you want more darker effect
then kindly repeat the application second time after two days

after wash, you may not feel any colour and gradually colour

Q.: What are the reasons behind appearance of green tone
on hairs after applying some hair colours? What are the
solutions to reduce that green tone?
A.: Sometimes some people receives green tone immediately
after wash because of various reasons like due to chlorinated
water used, or during change of weather etc but it is quite
temporary and go away after few minutes when hair come in
touch with natural air. Otherwise just apply some heat by hair
drier. After all it is mother nature 100% herbs only.
Q.: Why there is a change in colour obtained for the same
colour applied previously? Is it a fault in labelling? How you
encounter a complaint regarding your hair colours?
A.: Since, it is natural sometime slight variation in herbs may
come depending on cultivation of that season. However, you
may repeat the application for darker results.
We regularly do auditing to check weight, colour, kit, labelling
etc. of our products. So, there is no chance of any fault in
labelling. But still if we get any complaints regarding colour,
labelling etc., we immediately do action over that. The batch
for which complaint comes is tested again by our Quality
Analyst and a detailed report is sent to the person who raised
a complaint.
Q.: What colour the product organic dark brown is supposed to
be? How our organic hair colours are different from chemical
hair colours?
A.: Solution: It is dark brown colour, but it being 100% natural
and made of 100% organic herbs only. Results may vary person
to person due to several reasons:
Depending on health of hair: If badly treated in past with
chemicals, etc. If health of hair is not good then after first
application good colour may not be received and user may have
to apply more than one time as organic hair colour will first
repair the damage of hair and then there after good colour may
be received in first application only.
Its results should not be compared with that of chemical hair
colours. In comparison to chemical hair colours its results will be
always mild and retention on hair would be less.
But our organic hair colours are good and safe for health and
have no side effects and no allergy. Also extend hair treatment
properties.

Q.: What are the reasons behind not getting desired results
from SUNAB even after multiple application of hair colour?
What is the solution to eradicate red colour obtained after
applying organic hair colours?
A.: On some persons because of various reasons, sometime
good colour is not achieved during first time or first few
applications-due to health of hair, or structure of individual
hair or use of chemicals in past, weather change etc. In such
cases we need to apply more than one time. There should be
an interval of at least 24 hours or more between first and
second application or further applications, so that herbs get
some time to work on hair. This way SUNAB will first repair
your hair, and rectify the damage caused in past and get
acquainted to your hair, and then give good results. Thereafter
in future applications we get good results just in one
application. Just in case if you have applied more than one time
and still not getting results then kindly check below –
Please do not leave the paste after you make it by adding
water. As soon as we add water in SUNAB powder to make
paste, reaction between powder and water starts and this
reaction should take place on hair, if you leave paste for
sometimes before applying it your hair then colour will not

way, after applying harsh chemicals, herbs find it little difficult to
