TAKING ROOM SERVICE ORDER

KRING….KRING…KRING…
Receptionist: Room service, good morning! This is Bernadette Valdez
speaking, how may I help you?
Guest: I want to make an order for my breakfast.
Receptionist: Yes, ma’am! But before that may I know your name and
room number ma’am?
Guest: Sure, my name is Mary Rose Bello from room number 123.
Receptionist: Yes, ma’am Mary Rose, what do you want for your
breakfast? We have three types of breakfast, Continental, American and
Traditional breakfast. For Continental breakfast it consists of bread,
accompaniments, fresh fruit juice, coffee or tea, for American breakfast it
consists of bread, accompaniments, fresh fruit juice, coffee or tea and
entrée (main course) and for Traditional breakfast it consists of bread,
accompaniments, fresh fruit juice, coffee or tea and entrée.
Guest: I choose Continental breakfast.
Receptionist: Sure ma’am! For Continental breakfast, what do you want
for your bread ma’am, toasted, plain or wheat?
Guest: I will prefer toasted bread.
Receptionist: Sure ma’am! For your accompaniment ma’am, what do you
prefer butter, jam or jelly?
Guest: I want butter.
Receptionist: Sure ma’am! For your fresh fruit juice ma’am, what do you
want orange juice, mango juice, kalamansi juice or carrot juice?
Guest: I want orange juice.
Receptionist: Sure ma’am! What do you want ma’am coffee or tea?
Guest: I want coffee.
Receptionist: Sure ma’am! For your coffee what do you prefer ma’am,
black coffee or instant coffee or coffee with creamer?
Guest: I want black coffee.
Receptionist: Sure ma’am! For what time I’ll deliver your order ma’am?
Guest: Please deliver it exactly 7:30 in the morning.
Receptionist: Sure ma’am! Ma’am Bello, I will repeat your order for
clarification and correction. Your name is Mary Rose Bello from room
number 123, you’ve order one continental breakfast. Your bread is toasted
with the accompaniment of butter. Your fresh fruit juice is orange juice
and your coffee is black coffee. Is that correct ma’am?
Guest: Yes, that’s correct.
Receptionist: Is there anything else ma’am?
Guest: Nothing.
Receptionist: Ok ma’am! Your bill ma’am is amounting P700.00. Ma’am
how are you going to settle your bill, is it cash, credit card or charge to
hotel bill?
Guest: Please charge to my hotel bill.
Receptionist: Ok ma’am! Is there anything else ma’am?
Guest: None
Receptionist: Ok ma’am! Thank you for calling room service. Have a nice
day

Receptionist to Kitchen
Kring…kring…kring….
Chef: Kitchen department, this is Chef Ruben, how may I help you?
Receptionist: Chef, this is Bernadette from room service, can I make an
order for room number 123. She ordered one continental breakfast. For
her bread it will make it toasted with the accompaniment of butter. For
her fresh fruit juice, she ordered orange juice and black coffee and will
deliver it at exactly 7:30 in the morning.
Chef: Sure! I will deliver it at exactly 7:30 in the morning

Kitchen to Room Service


Kring..kring..kring…
Chef: Good morning, this is Chef Ruben from kitchen department. Your
order from room 123 is ready now for pick up.
Receptionist: Thank you Chef.

Inside the Room


Waiter: (knock three times). Good morning, this is Allan from room
service. May I come in?
Guest: Sure!
Waiter: Good morning ma’am! Here is your breakfast ma’am one
continental breakfast. Ma’am where did you want to put/set-up your
breakfast ma’am?
Guest: Can you please put it on my table.
Waiter: Sure ma’am. (while set up the breakfast, mention the name of the
food and talk the guest)
Waiter: Ma’am here is you bill amounting P700.00 pesos. Can you please
sign in (bill charge slip).
Waiter: Ma’am what time would you like me to get your soiled dishes?
Guest: At 8:20 in the morning.
Waiter: Sure ma’am. Enjoy your meal ma’am. Have a nice day!

During Cleaning of Soiled Dishes


Waiter: (Knock 3 times before entering the room). Good morning ma’am!
This is Allan from Room Service. Can I enter the room ma’am?
Guest: Sure.
Waiter: Can I get your soiled dishes ma’am?
Guest: Sure!
Waiter: (talk the guest while cleaning the table). Before leaving the room
ask the guest if the guest needs anything.
Waiter: Bid goodbye.
