Summary:

Cloud gaming has gained popularity due to its portability, reduced hardware
requirements, and advanced graphics features. However, connection instability can lead
to a loss of gaming accessibility, highlighting a significant drawback of the platform. This
team aimed to address the issue of connection instability between client devices and
gaming servers. Their approach involves utilizing CloudRend and mitigation techniques
to improve reliability in cloud gaming services. The outcome of implementing
CloudRend and mitigation techniques demonstrated a significant improvement in game
frame rates, with around a 33% increase observed. The experiment was limited to
analyzing graphic image performance between a single client and the gaming server.
However, the team aims to expand this technique to encompass multi-instance gaming,
AI integration, and animation, potentially broadening its applicability and impact across
various aspects of cloud gaming.

Opinions:
The initial experiment was constrained in scope, but there's potential for
more valuable insights by expanding into areas like multi-gaming and new input
methods. Cost efficiency concerns were raised by teammates, highlighting the
importance of assessing the worthiness of the project. Despite challenges, there's
optimism about the team's potential for growth in the gaming industry, particularly in
providing seamless gaming experiences, which is a key priority in cloud gaming.
