The printing and packaging sector is experiencing significant growth worldwide. In Vietnam, the industry has grown at an
average rate of over 20% in the past decade. However, it is crucial to note that the primary materials used in producing
synthetic printing inks are inorganic compounds, such as colors, resins, linseed oil, mineral oil, and various additives.

Regrettably, In addition to formaldehyde, this sector also releases gases of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such
benzene, toluene, xylene, vinyl chloride, etc. which is considered hazardous waste

Compared to conventional petroleum-based inks, using soy ink in printing operations is an efficient way to lower
greenhouse gas emissions.

The transition to more environmentally friendly ink alternatives may have a big influence on the worldwide effort to
lessen the effects of improve air quality

Using soy ink can lead to cost savings in the long run, despite its higher initial price compared to petroleum-based ink.

Moreover, Using soy ink helps ensure that the paper can be recycled without contaminating the recycling stream. This is
because the soy ink is a renewable resource and it reduces processing waste, which is better for the environment.
