4. Procedures

The students will be having a game called 4 Pics 1 Word guessing

game. The teacher presents with five pictures at the same time and
then tasks each student is to guess what specific word fits with the
theme of the photos presented. Whoever got that answer correctly will
receive two chips that correspond 5 point. The images that will be
presented are shown below:

4.1 Introductory Activity

(5 minutes)

4.2 Activity The learners will have an activity called "fact or bluff". In
(10 minutes) this activity, the teacher will present a statement then the
task of each group is to tell if the statement is a fact or a
bluff ,the first group who will "ay okay" will be the one to
answer and the representative will answer it by clicking
the icon ,"check" for fact and "x" for bluff. The group who
can answer correctly will receive 5 points each correct
answer.

1.) What is your strategy each group in order to answer the

question?
Possible Answer: team work and collaboration
2.) If we add the three interior angles, what is the sum of the three
4.3 Analysis angles?
(3 minutes) Possible Answer: 180 degrees
3.) What is triangle sum theorem states?
Possible Answer: Triangle sum theorem states that the sum of
the interior angles are always 180 degrees.
Solves Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles
CPCTC-is an acronym for Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles
are congruent. It means that once two triangles are proven to be
congruent, then the three pairs of sides that correspond must be
congruent and the three pairs of angles that corresponds must be
congruent.

For example: Solve for x

SOLUTION:
CONGRUENT SIDES
XY ≅ AB
AB =5 CM XY =5CM 3X-10=2X-5
3X-2X=-5+10
X=5
4.4 AbstractionAC = 20CM XZ =20CM
(20 minutes) CHECKING:
BC = 18 CM YZ = 18CM
3X-10=2X-5
3(5)-10=2(5)-5
15-10=10-5
5=5

EXAMPLE 2:

Activity: Tressure Hunting

In this activity, the class will stay on the same group. Each group will
going to solve the indicated congruent sides in each triangle.
Afterwards, they are going to write the letter that corresponds to their
answer on the tag board within one minute only. Once the time is up,
they will raise their tag boards. Whoever group got the correct answer
will gain 5 points.

4.5 Application
(15 minutes)

Direction: Solve the following problems.

1. Solve for x with checking:

4.6 Assessment
(5 minutes)
ANSWER
1.7x-4=31
7x=4+31
7x=35 (divide to 7 both sides)
X=5

CHECKING:
7(5)-4=31
35-4=31
31=31

4.7 Assignment Study in advance the notes from solving corresponding congruent
(2 minutes) angles and sides for a short quiz next meeting.
Activity: Pulot of the day

The learners will be having their usual "Pulot of the Day". The
4.8 Concluding Activity teacher will pick a name on the box randomly for the presenter of the
day. The presenter will have to share the important things he/she have
learned or realized on the lesson and how would it be beneficial in the
real-life setting.

5. Remarks
6. Reflections

C. Did the remedial lessons work? No. of learners

A. No. of learners who earned 80% in the evaluation.
who have caught up with the lesson.

B. No. of learners who require additional activities for D. No. of learners who continue to require
remediation. remediation.
E. Which of my learning strategies worked well? Why
did these work?

F. What difficulties did I encounter which my

principal or supervisor can help me solve?

G. What innovation or localized materials did I

use/discover which I wish to share with other
teachers?
