ACTIVITY 9.1

The resource teacher presents her lessons by providing examples of the anticipated learning
outcomes for the topic.

The resource teacher encourages active participation in the learning process, including classroom
activities.

The resource teacher assigned pupils to share their subject area skills and showcase them in front of
the class.

The resource teacher gave the students a grouping form to complete the exercise, assigning each
group to recite a poem. Every group of students cooperates with one another.

ANALYZE
a. Most applied

As I observed, the most applied principle of learning is "learning is enhanced in an atmosphere of

cooperation and collaboration,” where a student-centered approach is applied. Students learn better
in the offered activity when they work together with their classmates. In this learning concept, the
teacher facilitates student activities.

B. Least applied

Based on my observations, the learning principle that was applied the least out of the four was
"Learning is the discovery of personal meaning and relevance of ideas." During the lecture session,
the teacher asked only three students to share their expertise in reading the poem in front of the
class, which is a good discovery about the students' abilities; however, she did not ask anyone about
their understanding of the poem that they were reading.

Give instances where this/these principle/s could have been applied?

Effective learning begins with the setting of clear and high expectations oflearning outcomes.
What Ma'am Ganuhay executed is already an excellent illustration of this. She demonstrated her
lectures by giving examples of the expected learning goals for the topic—properly pronouncing and
enunciating words and delivering the poem well. As a result, I have no additional suggestions on this.

Learning is an active process

Teachers can apply this idea of learning by asking reciprocal questions about poetry. This technique
promotes an open discourse in which students generate their own questions regarding the topic, their
readings, and even be aware while pronouncing their words correctly in response.

Learning is the discovery of personal meaning and relevance of ideas.

The teacher addressed those questions verbally in front of the students in order to allow them to
contribute to their own replies and comprehension. Like the students, they would take lessons from
the poem they read and apply them to their lives.

Learning is a cooperative and a collaborative process. Learning is an enhance in an atmosphere of

cooperation and collaboration
Ma'am Ganuhay did well by providing a grouping form to finish the exercise and assigning each group
to recite a poem in which each group of pupils collaborates with one another. However, this principle
could be improved by requiring that the group reflect on the poetry after reciting it, which would
improve each member's critical thinking and collaboration of ideas.
REFLECT
The principles of learning provide guidance for optimal learning. For me, the most significant principle
is "Learning is the discovery of personal meaning and relevance of ideas," which emphasizes the
importance of personal connection and relevance in the learning process. This principle highlights the
importance of learning as an active process of discovering meaning and relevance, rather than a
passive process of receiving information. This makes learning more enjoyable and gratifying. As a
future teacher, I want my pupils to get valuable insights from our courses that they may implement in
their daily lives. I want to empower not only their understanding of such things in class but also their
personal reflection on life.

ACTIVITY 9.2

OBSERVE
1. Demonstrate improved clarity and articulation in their speech.
2. Understand the impact of poetic language and structure on the overall meaning and emotion of the
poem.
3. Practice reading the poem aloud with proper fluency, rhythm, and expression.
4. Comprehend the meaning and message of the poem through close reading and analysis.
5. Showcase their learning by performing the poem with fluency, expression, and a deep
understanding of the poem's themes and emotions.

2. Cite pieces of evidence that these learning outcomes were achieved.

ANALYZE
Yes. SMART objectives enable educators to provide clear guidance for the lesson, link activities with
learning outcomes, and successfully monitor student progress. This leads to a more concentrated,
effective, and fruitful learning experience.

REFLECT
I have learned from the lesson on determining SMART learning outcomes that determining SMART
learning outcomes is crucial as they provide a clear direction for both teachers and students, offering
a focused path towards the desired knowledge or skills. They govern lesson planning, allowing
teachers to construct activities and assessments that are closely related to the outcomes. SMART
outcomes can encourage students by defining attainable and relevant goals and providing them with
a clear picture of what they're working toward. Furthermore, they facilitate effective assessment of
student progress by providing tangible criteria for measuring learning. Finally, because they are time-
bound, these outcomes assure proper pacing and responsibility.

ACTIVITY 9.3
OBSERVE
1.
The seven different forms of curricula in schools are interrelated. The recommended curriculum is a
basic guideline established by an authority that influences the written curriculum, the particular plan
used by teachers. The taught curriculum is what teachers actually provide, and it is frequently
adjusted based on student requirements, whereas the supported curriculum includes resources to
help with teaching and learning. The examined curriculum consists of elements evaluated through
examinations, reflecting what has been taught and learnt and affecting future curriculum design. The
learned curriculum is what pupils learn, affected by all other forms of curriculum and personal
experiences. Finally, the hidden curriculum encompasses indirect lessons taught through school
culture, which affect all aspects of learning. Each kind of curriculum influences and is influenced by
the others, resulting in
