Part 1: SOCIAL INTERACTION


The first part is social interaction. In this part, you will answer questions about you and
everyday situations, such as work, hobbies and family
Now, let’s talk about books.
1. Do you often read books or magazines?
2. What is your favourite kind of books to read?
3. How often do you read books?
4. Do you have any e-books?
5. What books did you read as a child?
6. Name some of the famous writers of your country?
7. Have you ever thought about writing a book?

Part 2: SOLUTION DISCUSSION


In this part of the speaking test, you will be given a situation with THREE options. You have
to choose ONE to argue on. You will have to say which option you will follow and explain why.
You will also have to say why you haven't chosen the other two options. You have ONE minute
to prepare for your talk and TWO minutes to talk. Here is the situation.

Situation: You have a Sunday evening out with your friends.


There are THREE activities to choose:
- seeing a movie
- going shopping
- singing karaoke
Situation: Your best friend is under a lot of stress at work.
You want to give her some advice:
- watch a movie
- read a book
- take a day off work.
What do you think is the best choice?

Situation: Imagine that you have just received a big sum of


money from your university scholarship. What will you do with
the money?
- Buying books for your hobbies
- Going to travel in another country
- Giving money to your savings for later use

Part 3: TOPIC DEVELOPMENT


In this part of the speaking test, you will have to present on a topic that you will see in the
outline below. After your presentation, you will be asked THREE follow-up questions related
to the topic. You have ONE minute to prepare and THREE minutes to complete this part.
Here is the outline of the topic.
