opportunities in the Enterprise
market.

The Radio Dot System addresses

indoor opportunities in medium-
large buildings, and thanks to its
innovative architecture, the system
enables coverage and capacity
throughout these venues using
distributed Radio Dots, with a
centralized processing module (i.e.
baseband).

The solution is based on a set of innovations enabling indoor connectivity across remotely powered active antenna
elements using standard enterprise LAN cabling, while sharing common baseband and radio resources. This allows
operators to address and target a wide range of building environments with a common solution.

With the Radio Dot System, Ericsson has redefined the indoor small cells concept with the industry’s most cost-
effective, modular, and highest performing indoor system. The Ericsson Radio Dot system is designed to address
both consumer and business user’s performance expectations indoors and to remove broadband capacity
bottlenecks in large buildings.

The Radio Dot features an innovative antenna element that, together with a distributed architecture with centralized
baseband, enables the provision of high level mobile broadband coverage for different kinds of users and spaces.
