Writing :
Organized tours to remote areas and communities are increasingly popular. Is it a
positive or negative development for the local people and the environment?
In the modern era, traveling is becoming more famous with people around the world.
So they choose remote regions as the best place for them to tourism. In my opinion,
it will bring both the benefits for the local population and negative effects on the
environment.
Firstly, the growth of taking trips to rural areas has brought numerous advantages
for the local people. When they have a great number of guests, they can make profit
faster because tourists need to have a bunch of food, accommodation and services.
The development of tourism has an impact on local infrastructure, the needs of
tourists when they come to this place because of the beautiful scenery or bridges.
Therefore, it can create opportunities for them to get jobs to go into production and
do construction work.
Beside it, the expansion of this tour is also causing a lot of disadvantages for the
environment. The creatures will have no place to live. Thus, the forest will be cut
down to build hotels or resorts for tourists. Even the environment will be threatened
by pollution such as air pollution, water pollution. Because of the amount of garbage
thrown into the sea or the road, it makes the environment worse and loses the urban
beauty.
In concussion, not only the enhancement of tourism to remote areas and
communities takes a load of assistants but also has a harmful influence on local
people and the environment.
