Hanging decoration spring cherry blossom Crochet explanation -3- Tree & Fence
The tree in brown is crocheted from single branches in single spiral rounds without a SL at the end of the round/without a CH at the beginning of the
round.
The branches are later sewn together (see photos starting on page 9)

For each branch: Make a magic ring. Crochet 4 SC into the magic ring. Then crochet 1 SC in each stitch until the crochet piece reaches the required
length:

You need: 1x 10 cm
1x 8,5 cm
1x 5 cm
3x 3 cm
2x 2 cm

Finish each branch: cut thread 20 cm, pull through loop on crochet hook, tighten. Sew only the initial thread.

The fence in white is crocheted in 2 parts in rows. Crochet the 1st row only into the 3rd loop (the little bump on the back) of the CH; see photos page 2:

Left side of fence: Crochet 38 CH

1.row 1 SC into the 2nd CH from the hook, 1 SC into each following CH
2.row 3 CH (not to replace 1st DC!), 1 DC into 1st st, *1 CH, [skip 1 st], 1 DC* to end of row
3.row 1 CH, 37x 1 SC

Right side of fence: Crochet 14 loose sts

1.row 1 SC into the 2nd CH from the hook, 1 SC into each following CH
2.row 3 CH (not to replace 1st DC!), 1 DC into 1st st, *1 CH, [skip 1 st], 1 DC* to end of row
3.row 1 CH, 13x 1 SC

Finish: cut each thread, pull through loop on crochet hook, tighten. Sew the threads.

Hanging decoration spring cherry blossom Crochet explanation -4- cross bar / ribbons
The crossbar (crochet 1x) in green or desired color is crocheted in rows.

Crochet 47 CH

1st row Crochet the 1st row only into the 3rd loop (the little bump on the back) of the CH: Crochet 1 dc in the 46th ch, then 1 dc in each
following ch (46)
2nd-24th row (23 rows) 1 CH, 46x 1 SC (46)

Cut thread about 40 cm, pull through the loop on the crochet hook, tighten. Sew only the initial thread.

The hanging ribbons (crochet 2x) in white are crocheted in rows.

Crochet CH (initial thread again approx. 15 cm!) until the ribbon has reached the required length (depending on how/where you hang the decoration)

Then crochet 1 SL into the 2nd CH from the crochet hook and 1 SL in every other CH.

Cut thread about 15 cm, pull through the loop on the crochet hook, tighten. Do not sew the ends of the thread.

You can also crochet the hanging ribbon with a loop as shown in these photos , so you can hang it on the door for
example on two suction cup hooks ☺

Insert 3 flower wires (see green lines on the 1st photo)
into the 10 cm / 8.5 cm long parts. Then pin the short
parts onto the free wires and sew them on with 3-4
stitches.

1x 10 cm + 5 cm + 3 cm
2x 8.5 cm + 3 cm + 2 cm

Then bend the branches as desired, but please make

sure that the tree must be flat at the back as in the
photo.

Then wrap brown yarn around the 3 trunks and sew the end of Side view
the thread. (flat at the back)

13

Then sew on the tiny flowers, always slightly offset, with 2-3 stitches with the sewing thread. You can sew on several flowers (and if desired also the
small beads) with one thread, by leading the needle, through the branch, from the first flower to the position of the 2nd flower.

Doesn't the little cherry tree look wonderfully like spring? ☺ When all the flowers are sewn on: On the back, pull 4 white threads
about 10 cm long through the trunk in the middle of the tree, as shown
here.
These holding threads are later used to fix the tree to the hanger band
so that it cannot tip forward ☺

Roll the 3 sheets of paper together on the narrow side. The diameter of the paper roll should be about 4 cm.
Tape the open edge (alternatively: tie with thread). Place the roll in the crochet piece and sew the edges together at the edge stitches.

Hanging decoration spring Photos pendant flowers / house

Cut 2x approx. 44 cm long and 3x approx. 34 cm long threads from the white yarn.
Double the thread and pull the loop through the middle edge stitch of a flower. Then
pull both ends of the thread through this loop.
Measure 13 cm from this loop for the long flower pendants or 6.5 cm for the short
flower pendants and tie a knot.

Mark the positions for the flower pendants on the underside of the crossbar with a
piece of yarn.
Then sew on the flower pendants (the knot in the ribbon ensures that the length of the
ribbons is correct and equal) and then sew the ends of the thread.
At this photo you can see what distances the individual
Components have ☺

the right fence/end.

Sew on the house through the edge stitches 1 row before the crease

Then sew the front bottom edge of the house. To prevent the needle from poking into the stitches in front of the house, you can hold a
piece of cardboard/paper between these stitches and the tip of the needle, as shown in the middle photo.

Then, on the back of the house, pull 4 threads (= holding threads) each through 2 stitches in the center of the house (dashed lines).
Then place the white hanging ribbon on top (as in the first photo) and sew it to the crossbar.
Then knot the holding threads twice around the hanging ribbon. The hanging ribbon should lie smoothly on the back of the house
(should not lie in "bows", but also should not be too taut). Then sew the ends of the threads.

19

Then sew your cherry tree onto the crossbar as shown here. Please make sure that one branch touches the house ☺

thread. Then cut short or sew. the holding threads of the tree (as you did before
with the house)
